Ricoh Malaysia to unveil new Direct To Garment printers

Ricoh Ri 3000/ Ri 6000 DTG printers discover an incredibly short route from design to print.

Ricoh Malaysia in Jan 2018 unveiled the Ri 100 Direct to Garment (DTG) Printer. With the release of the new Ri 100 printer, Ricoh continue to expand the possibilities for new and existing garment printing business. To provide a platform for creative entrepreneur to starting a garment printing business or those who wants to add a new profitable product line to their current printing business.

As an entry level Direct to Garment (DTG) printer in the market as it can fit on any desks or counters, combining with its easy-to-operate design software, making it extremely convenient and easy for shops such as small businesses and souvenir shops to have it. With a user-friendly software, customers do not need to possess any specialized knowledge or skills to operate the product.

Ri 100 uses Ricoh’s own piezo-electric inkjet technology to produce high quality prints. The inkjet is designed to produce incredibly detailed designs and photograph with smooth gradations at 1200×1200. It also comes with a Speed mode and Fine mode that prints garments at less than 1 min 20 sec and 2 min 30 sec respectively.

Materials such as cotton can only be used with the Ri 100 printer to fully utilize its capabilities. Cotton materials such as t-shirts from baby sizes to adult sizes, tote bags, sweatshirts and polo shirts would be compatible with the Ri 100.

Customers can truly wish to maximize space, Ricoh also offers the stackable, Rh 100 Finisher. This space saving solution eliminates the need for a separate heat press. With Ri 100, now everyone can own their customized or personalized t-shirts.

Ricoh will soon be launching a pair of new devices designed of Direct to Garment (DTG) to make qualified, high quality apparel printing easier, faster and more flexible. Ricoh Ri 3000/ Ri 6000 DTG printers discover an incredibly short route from design to print. With its excellent performance, it is able to print a shirt as fast as in 27 seconds. These devices print at 600 dpi quality even on traditionally difficult media, such as poly 50/50 blend. Ri 3000/ Ri 6000 provide high quality, durable prints and printers take garment printing to the new level by allowing users to print directly to shirts, socks and canvas grocery bags and others cotton materials.

Ri 3000/ Ri 6000 use a water based inks and this helps to deliver soft, long lasting and eye catching vibrant designs. With the built-in of white ink circulation that dramatically improves ink flow and minimizes waste, it produces high quality prints on even the dark coloured garments. The 2.3 inches of laser-assisted table height automatic adjustment eases printing on thick material such as hoodies with zippers. Besides, granular drop size controls help create even sharper prints applications. For those looking to bring the printing of branded apparel in house, with Ri 3000/ Ri 6000’s speed and high quality can help reduce outsourcing costs for gift shops, universities and promotional products. Ri 3000/ Ri 6000 is design specifically to make DTG printing fast and easy. A new, easy to use colour touch screen control panel further streamlines the print process. The ANARIP software enables users to print flies directly from a USB flash drive or any networked PC-without manual colour separation, a time consuming process traditionally required for screen printing. The new features of the software, design can be easily previewed and modified based on the colour of fabric they are being printed to, so designs look the same on the screen as they will on the garment.
