Konica Minolta promotes new business expansion with AL190

– features AccurioLabel 190 at Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2018; offers small to mid-size converters a reliable entry to digital printing.

  Konica Minolta’s plans for Label Expo South East Asia 2018 were focused on extending the company’s reach to potential label converters with the expo. “KM believes Label printing market is one of the segments that is expected to grow in the future. With AL190, we are well positioned to promote new business expansion, offering small to mid-size converters a solid, reliable and affordable entry to digital printing,” says Lim Chin Kok of Konica Minolta.

“This is a continuation of our marketing efforts to reach out to more markets and customers that are considering to move from analogue to digital,” continues Lim. Konica Minolta presented Konica Minolta AL190, targeting small to mid-size label converters by offering affordable entry to digital printing. KM was located at booth B2, taking up 108sqm of space, showcasing AccurioLabel 190 digital label press and offline finishing solutions from Brotech and GCC.

AccurioLabel 190 was indeed the featured product from Konica Minolta stable. The solution is designed to realise label applications to meet a wide range of diversifying needs.

Targeting customers from the region – those from developing markets from Asia as well as from the developed western markets – the AL190 is a versatile digital label press that caters to wide variety of print applications and market demands.

KM showcased the Offset-like print quality and substrate range printable on various media such as glossy or matt art paper and synthetics, PET and PP of Konica Minolta AL190. “There are many unique features in this machine. For example, you’ll be able to scan the barcodes on the printed label applications to find out more product and substrate information to facilitate decision-making. Moreover, our toners of AL190 are FDA standard compliant,” says Lim.

“The printing industry has changed with the acceleration of digitalisation. Technological advancement and new innovations are driving demand for digital solutions. We look forward to collaborate with label industry partners to grow digital label solutions. We are positive to digital printing industry, it will growth and become more important due to the digitalization of nearly everything nowadays. Challenges and opportunities for the printing industry going digital

The market size of industrial printing, including labels, packaging and textiles is estimated at USD450 billion. “According to some sources, digitalisation is still less than 5%, therefore, we see huge opportunity for the label industry to grow,” believes Lim.

AL190 targets the gap in the entry to mid size label market – it is well positioned to meet the needs and add value to label converters considering to invest in digital.

KM adds value to the digital print industry and happily hosted interested customers at their Customer Engagement Centre in Singapore.

Konica Minolta had an impressive Label Expo South East Asia 2018. “We see there is a potential label market in SEA and more converters will realise the many benefits that a digital press will bring value to their business.
