Autoprint Inspection System makes inroads into Malaysian print market

Suria Press of Malaysia installs Autoprint Checkmate 50 Inspection System.

Suria Press (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a paper based packaging printing company based in Malaysia. The company has recently opted for an Autoprint Checkmate 50 Inspection System to detect defects and expedite their manual quality checking process.

Suria Press’ top management visited Autoprint in India in November 2017 before meeting a few other inspection machine manufacturers. They were very impressed with Autoprint’s Checkmate 50 Inspection machine and found it much superior in terms of quality checking and speed. The machine has a rigid body, with user-friendly and customized software. In addition, upon visiting Autoprint, Suria Press’ team found a very supporting and knowledgeable sales and service staff.

The machine has been installed in Suria’s factory in Jan 2018.  The company believes that the machine would be the key to further enhance their deliveries and quality control.

Suria Press started their printing business in 1979. Initially focusing in commercial printing, they slowly tapped into the packaging industry in mid 90’s. Their factory with an area of 28,000 square feet in Sekinchan, North Selangor, houses several state-of-the-art offset printing machines, die-cut machines, gluing machines and various coating machines to cater to the needs of their customers. Committed to provide the best quality products and services to customers, which are chiefly in the pharmaceuticals & FMCG industries, the company has product quality and on-time delivery as their key focus. They had been looking for a machine that could help to find the defects and expedite their manual quality checking process since manual inspection could not provide 100% defect free cartons. Autoprint Checkmate 50 provides defect free print products to the end customer with 100% accuracy. It can inspect print defects and foil errors. The machine segregates the good and defective sheets neatly into different stacks which can be further analysed to correct the previous process. It not only eliminates expensive manual labour but also enhances the checking speed and process.
